Fix : How to Change WordPress Theme from Database / PHPMyAdmin Manually

What would you do if you can not enter your wordpress dashboard, whereas you have to change the theme. Where the active theme is in trouble, you could not enter the dashboard as an active theme is problematic.

Display your blog becomes empty, white with no written maintenance mode or under contraction, end of the blog you suspect, that your blog is not taken care of.

You have to do something. This is what I experienced with wordpress that I run in VPS. Somehow, it should be if the active theme problematic, automatically return to the default wordpress theme. You do not need to rule wordpress.

As a result, Google reported that the error in my website has increased dramatically. Google could not find our content. Of course this is bad for the SERP.

The solution is, change the default wordpress theme through phpMyAdmin. Use the following command

UPDATE wp_options SET option_value = 'default' WHERE option_name = 'template';
UPDATE wp_options SET option_value = 'default' WHERE option_name = 'stylesheet';
UPDATE wp_options SET option_value = 'default' WHERE option_name = 'current_theme';

And .. viola !!! .. your wordpress site can be accessed again. Go to the dashboard and change the theme, according to what you need. Simple, but it helps.
