Google AMP Is The Future of The Web

HTML technological advancement has found its way in the presence of AMP technology, which is a technology that allows a website accessible to be faster because of minimizing the use of CSS and JavaScript. AMP template has a simple design, not too much javascript and CSS and the size of the files accessed by the user is relatively small.

But the shortage of templates are difficult to make and force users or creators to touch the code, because there are some tags that are specially made to AMP, and I think now there is no editor that makes it easy for it

This is Google AMP

For information AMP is a project supported by Google began in October 2015 and is open source so it can be used by everyone for free. But the nature of the AMP is not the same as SSL if  SSL where google promised to give a higher ranking in the search results but on AMP’s template-based Google does not promise to give a higher rating

So essentially AMP template is a rewrite html structure that is lighter and simple so that all of the website’s content can be accessed simultaneously either through smartphones or desktop. With this speed will increase yuser experience when exploring the website.

Even so now I have too many websites using templates AMP, because to use this template should edit all the content that has been made, especially content insert images and video. To insert an image and video does not require a special order is valid pages using AMP

So ideally when it will move to the temple AMP, you must create a new site with new content. Because if you switch to AMP template but still use the old content then the result will be the same, not so much an increase in the speed of loading web pages.

But there are some great sites that successfully graduated to the template AMP despite using the old content. For this site I was not planning to move to AMP template because I was not ready for it.

Here is the structure of AMP valid HTML

  1. Starts with <! Doctype html>
  2. Include the <html ⚡> or <html amp>.
  3. Include a <link rel = “canonical” href = “$ SOME_URL” />, in the head tag to determine the AMP version of HTML.
  4. Include a <meta charset = “utf-8”>.
  5. Include a <meta name = “viewport” content = “width = device-width, minimum-scale = 1”> in the head tag.
  6. Attaching JavaScript Library AMP <script async src = “https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0.js”> </ script> tag in the head.
  7. Include a <style> body {opacity: 0} </ style> <noscript> <style> body {opacity: 1} </ style> </ noscript> tag in the head.

And here is example of AMP Template
